"We have to be the best to our spouses. We have to be the best to our parents. These are fundamentals in relationships, & by the way all the other relationships get fixed - if these two are fixed. And these two - the only way they will get fixed - is if your relationship with ALLAH is fixed. So if you have marriage problems & parental problems, you know what the real problem is - TAQWA & IMAAN!"
Abu Huraira reported that a person said: Allah's Messenger, who amongst the people is most deserving of my good treatment? He said: Your mother, again your mother, again your mother, then your father, then your nearest relatives according to the order (of nearness).( Muslin )
Prophet Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, "Those who are nearest to Allah are they who are first to give a salutation." (Abu Dawud Book 41 #5178) ~ AsSalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Everyone! : )
When you put your hope for love, praise, success, happiness, and recognition in the people, you will walk away disappointed with a broken heart. It is only when you put this hope in Allaah will your heart and soul find peace, relief, and pleasure. Indeed Allaah speaks the truth in the Qur'aan: "Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest. (13:28)"
